Local Planning and Coordinating Council
Cluster G Local Planning and Coordinating Council Serving Johnson, Hamilton, Hendricks, Marion, Morgan and Tipton Counties |
The First Steps Local Planning and Coordinating Council (LPCC) is a voluntary group composed of families whose children have special needs and representatives of organizations providing early intervention and transition services. |
The Council exists to bring together service providers, other stakeholders (e.g. community partners), and consumers of early intervention services for children with special needs, primarily age 0-5 years, to routinely share current information of common interest and to plan, monitor, organize, and implement a coordinated and comprehensive delivery system of early intervention services within each county of the Central Indiana First Steps Cluster. |
In addition to the full council meetings, many committees are available on which individuals may serve. These include:
· Executive Committee
· Family Outreach and Quality Assurance
· Functions of the LPCC Committee
· Public Awareness and Child Find Committee
· Provider Issues Committee
· Transition Committee
Your input is vital to First Steps! Full LPCC meetings are held quarterly and most committee meetings occur monthly. The public is invited and encouraged to attend! |
